Job Description

The Clinic Physician will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical oversight and patient care at Lifespan Edge clinics. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art wellness facility focused on TPE treatments and longevity research. The ideal candidate will blend clinical expertise with a passion for innovation, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of patients while contributing to groundbreaking research.

Location

This position is based at Lifespan Edge’s state-of-the-art clinics, with opportunities available in locations including Dorado, PR; Westlake, CA; and other future openings.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Perform initial consultations, assess medical histories, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients undergoing TPE procedures.
• Medical Oversight: Oversee TPE procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and best practices.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and training to clinical staff, ensuring adherence to Lifespan Edge’s high standards of patient care.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on the benefits, risks, and outcomes of TPE, ensuring informed consent and a positive experience.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in regular reviews of clinic operations, safety protocols, and patient feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant medical regulations, including HIPAA and state-specific requirements.

Education:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board Qualification in Apheresis (QIA) Certification.
• Additional business or healthcare administration qualifications (MBA, MPH, etc.) are a plus.

Qualifications.

• Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related specialty is preferred.
• Proven experience in senior healthcare executive role.
• Outpatient clinic experience.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in wellness, preventive medicine, or related fields.
• Strong interest in longevity science, wellness, and innovative medical treatments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
• Experience with or willingness to train in TPE procedures and protocols.
